REVIVED From The DeadI have many reason why I havent been alive for like the past year. And the excuses come down to like 4 reasons.
1) Finishing year 12.
OMG thats soo hectic, We've bearly found anytime to scarth our asses let alone to juggle things like art in free time, home responsibilties, maybe a partner and employment. The main excuses is i havent found time to update work is because im to tired when ive got time to do anything and just let my brain rest ^^
2)New styles, techniques and Inspirations.
Now, in yr 12 we're given 5 subjects to complete. 3 out of the 5 were folio and arts. 2 of those 3 were majorally artisical which enlightened me in inspriation. These included the Artmesia Genteleschi and Salvador Dali. My interest in Genteleschi was basded upon her Baroque style and chirascuro pallete of dramatic contrasts of shadows and light which gives a gothic appeal to her work.
My interest in Dali is the opposite. Surealism didnt really inspire me but his application and technique of painting I adored. His painting technique was inspired by the Renassaince to which has also caused inspiration from them. So all in all im in utter sponge mood from these artists and finding my own styles.
3)New style.
Funny enough, Ive seem to have matured a little in the past year. i watch way less anime then used to and thus it no longer appeals to me. This has resulted me moving all of my old crappy work and starting a fresh. My new style is vastly modivated by the previous mentions inpsriations and also any random deviantarts i come across. You can see them obviously in my favourites. My new style would asthetically be more realisitc of the human form and evolving from anime.
4) Time.
Vce students have now completed this year so we now have time to breath and mellow out. This has resulted me in ages of time to myself because im in limbo waitign for tertairy acceptance. So boom, i have heaps of time to experiement.
So thats my lifes chapter at the moment. Now Im goin to be working like a slave and tryin to get new art works up.
Just some help please, if anyones got some advice on makin my profile lookin less plain please tell me im really dumb at the web and also give me any criticism and advice on my works so i can keep growing
